Hi there! I’m Sarah Fortune, and if you’re wondering where the name of this blog came from—well, it’s literally on my birth certificate. But to me, "Good Fortune" is about more than just a lucky break; it’s about the life we build within our own four walls.
I didn’t get into real estate because I wanted to wear fancy suits or drive a luxury car. In fact, you’re much more likely to catch me without makeup, just being a regular person. I got into this because I know exactly how overwhelming "the process" can be.
When I was navigating the technicalities of an inherited home with my siblings, I realized that having someone who can handle the hoops and hurdles makes all the difference. I wanted to be that person for others—the one who takes the "heavy lifting" off your plate so you can focus on the memories, not the paperwork.
Life Beyond the Contract
This space isn’t just about contracts and closings. It’s about living. To me, a house becomes a home when you’re finally mastering a new recipe in your own kitchen or winding down with a movie on the couch.
Whether it’s sharing a local gem like a quiet afternoon at Cameron Park, a sunset on Lake Whitney, or grabbing a bite at George’s or Poppa Rollo’s, I want to celebrate the laid-back lifestyle we have right here in our community.
